After a good amount of time exclusively selling Sire V-Series pickguards, we are finally offering some new pickguards on our shop. The pickguard models from Fender/Squire that we are adding to our shop are the iconic Stratocaster and Telecaster.
While Gibson has some contenders, I think it's fair to say that the Stratocaster and Telecaster have some of the most iconic and recognizable pickguard designs out of any guitar. Which is one of the main reasons for deciding to create these pickguard models next.
The process of getting my first successful pickguards for these models was actually almost as tough to complete than when creating my first Sire V-Series pickguards. I was a bit surprised at first because even though there's some much online resources for getting the specs and measurements of these pickguards, that was actually also one of the biggest issues I had. Because there's so much resources online, there's also more sources to provide incorrect information and measurements. (Which led to a lot of bad batches of pickguards.) But, eventually I used a mix of online resources and real life measurements to get my final pickguard templates.
For now, I'll still likely add newer models to the shop in the future (let me know if there's a specific model anyone wants), but my main focus will be working on adding more unique material/color options to my shop. While I know it'll be difficult, right now I'll be working on adding wood and metal (anodized aluminum and/or stainless steel) pickguard options to the shop. But I won't forget about acrylic, I'm currently working on some new color/pattern options for our acrylic pickguard options on our shop.
